60s Vintage Gold Beige Full Skirt XS Cocktail Dress Details:
- illusion neckline with champagne organza and beige synthetic lining
- 4 full skirt hip accent panels with weights in corners to hold in place and allow to swing out when dancing
- center back metal Talon brand zipper topped with hook and eye and keyhole button
- gold and beige floral chain stitch embroidery over entire main body of dress
- Don Sachs was created by Paul Sachs as a petite line in the late 50s or early 60s
- best for a size XS but please base purchase off of actual measurements
Condition: Very Good
- about 5 small pinholes in shoulder area of illusion bodice (a couple were faintly brushed with adhesive to hold remaining fibers) if you wanted exterior excellent you could remove illusion bodice and add small spaghetti straps with illusion bodice fabric
- rust area discoloration at shoulder seams where this dress hung for so long and was pinned to hanger hence holes
- faint water discoloration to inner lining on side hip down side possibly from steaming
- one small discoloration on inner lining, all organza panels have slight discoloration that can only be seen when individual panel is held up to light
- illusion bodice has some areas where the champagne organza has lighter spots
- floral appliques were removed and added again as a couple were missing and pattern didn't look great, a couple areas of pin holes where the originally were
- has been put through a steam cycle, no odors to note
