50s Vintage White Black Small Novelty Print Full Skirt Cotton Dress Details:
- 100% white cotton with a black print featuring silhouettes of women and men in antique clothing being courted, riding horses, a farmer, tree with fence and rabbit
- top is 4 panels with V neck and back and sleeveless though shoulder fabric overhangs arms and turns up
- skirt is full and gathered at the front for a fuller skirt in front than back and same as bodice in 4 panels
- bodice waist darts to tailor dress in to create bust line
- side metal Amity brand zipper so must slip over head
- originally had matching belt but no belt is included
- shown with a crinoline not included
- best for larger size small or smaller size medium but please base purchase off of actual measurements compared to a similar garment
Brand/tag: made by a home seamstress
Condition: very good
- all major seams have been fully resewn as it had many quick thread seam repairs where thread was failing. Did not resew cuff on sleeve or bodice darts but the rest was redone
- inner shoulder has hanger oxidation discoloration that slightly shows through on outer shoulder pointed to in image
- a handful or so of small marks or discoloration on skirt i try to point out all in images
- one small hole on front bodice near underarm area pointed to in image and one small hole on back next to underarm where the inner seam was secured to cover a small hole
- hasn't been cleaned but no odors to note
Measurements: taken flat and doubled when needed
Bust - 34-35" but no direct measurements as dolman style front and back bodice
Waist - 29" (waist should be slightly smaller to ensure fit)
Hips - open due to amount of skirt
Shoulder - 19.5" though this is a wider neckline

Sleeve - 5" edge of cuff rolled up to necklineHem allowance - 1"
