Vintage 50s Solid Birch Harmonic Platinum Finish China Cabinet Set Details:
- Style number M 995 and M 995 in Platinum finish
- top piece and bottom piece with a cooler toned platinum with slight green undertones in various places
- all pieces are solid birch (no veneer)
- top sits on main piece
- original finish that has been polished
- inner shelving is adjustable with original metal pegs
- the Harmonic line was meant to use design to show shadows of the piece hence the opening under top and way that center vertical wood is cut to angle in emphasizing the doors where you grab to open the bottom cabinet
- original sliding glass in top with recessed half moon areas to pull each glass back and forth
- no Heywood logo but marked Platinum and item number along with being documented in the Roland Heywood guide

- 3 dog bone chairs (M154A) and 1 dog bone armchair (M154C) along with the drop leaf dining table (M1566G) all in platinum finish and the 3 drawer buffet (M592) in wheat all available for purchase separately

Condition: Very good

- original platinum finish with bottom cabinet showing scratches and fading where top sat and lightly rubbing for so many years (i added cork to the top metal slides to prevent future scratching
- a small split in original wood seams on top piece side bottom and one small split top side shown in image, and side of top shelf
- a gauge to front of bottom door that has darkened shown in image
- stain color has a lot of variation on this piece with the sides looking warmer with the areas that saw less light being cooler toned but all blends well
- some discolorations speckling to the upper leg areas and undersides of furniture
- back of bottom piece has a small bow to the back covering and top had a nail popped so a small brass tack nail was used to put it back in place
- corner edge on top has an area from manufacturing where they used some wood glue where there must have been a mistake or knot shown in image
- bottom piece when doors are open there were drips to finish from manufacturing that darkened along with one side bottom area of top piece
- piece has been fully cleaned in and out
- Overall gorgeous in person but be sure to ask for more images or more details if any questions
