Vintage 50s Red Felt Handmade Danny Christmas Stocking Details:
- likely cotton felt but could be wool
- hand embroidered name Danny in cursive writing
- glued on Christmas tree appliqués with sequins
- celluloid hand tab with now cream felt trim
Decade: 1950s
Brand/tag: handmade by a mother
Condition: Very good
- brown discoloration to white felt so it is now a cream
- one small hole in the back of the stocking 4mm across at widest point
- felt is worn
- small area where glue showing through stocking and slightly hardened area of stocking near where tree is (perhaps some glue got on it when she made it but not sure)
- 2 sequins have been replaced
