Vintage 50s Black Sequin Cocktail Hat Details:
- a black felted wool rolled brim face framing cocktail hat finished with black sequins and matching hat pin
- sequin attached to a mesh overlay sewn on to felted wool
- shown at a tilt as that is how I prefer it when on but i can be worn more traditional straight on and up
- hat pin has matching sequin fabric on it but is missing many sequins from being squeezed to place the pin over and over again so please see image of pin

- some missing sequins on the lower horizontal stripe of sequins right side of hat and about 4 areas of tears to the mesh fiber the sequins are layered on that does not detract from the hat
- one area where the inner grosgrain ribbon is not attached to felted wool but it looks almost like it is intentionally down when being made to help shape the hat
- the hat pin has seen better days as it is missing many sequins and has a hole where the purple pin head has poked through at one point so could optionally be repaired
- presents beautifully in person
Measurements:
- 21.25" measured at inner hat grosgrain ribbon band
- 7" side to side X 8.25" front to back
- crown is 4.5" deep approximately but tough to measure due to how the design of the hat is made
