40s Vintage XS Navy Blue Fur Collar Princess Cut Heavy Winter Coat Details:
- 1940s large scoop fur collar and sleeve cuffs - possibly marmot fur but not positve
- double breasted and princess cut (heaven)
- fully lined with lining heavily lined in wool
- front slit angled pockets on front along with scalloped out princess seams
- back lower back inset above multiple back skirt pleats for extra movement when walking
- large shoulder pads
- double snap buttons on underside of large collar to give option of popping back collar during extra cold weather (shown in image from front and side angle)
- shown in natural light last image with direct sun on it
- best for a size XS as a coat should have 6 additional inches for garments and movement at waistline but please base purchase off of actual measurements to ensure a good fit
Condition: Very Good
- one small moth graze at chest seam pointed to in image
- original inner side seam ties to draw coat in was missing one so one tie was remade with vintage brown satin lining and resewn in. In this area there is some seam pull but ties are secured well
- one top button was reinforced
- fur pelts appear to be in good shape
- appears clean with no odors to note and presents absolutely stunning in person
