Vintage 40s Orange Raffia Velvet Ribbon Large Tilt Sun Hat Details:
- a finely woven raffia straw hat with interwoven orange velvet ribbon trim
- ribbon lines crown of hat and weaves under brim to finish with bow that shows when the hat is worn and tilted to frame the face
- oval shape
- from my personal collection shown worn with a 40s silk dress
Material: fine strips of raffia straw and velvet ribbon likely silk

Condition: Very Good
- one small spot on the raffia straw seen in the image of it lying flat from above
- velvet ribbon pile is wearing thin in crease areas
- one small spot where the seam missed the raffia but I never noticed this until today
- some discoloration on inner hat grosgrain ribbon and crown grosgrain
- presents beautifully in person as a true show stopper of a hat

Crown depth - 3.5" approximately
Circumference - 21.25" at grosgrain inner hat ribbon
17" side to side X 14" front to back
Box has to be quite large to ship this due to the length and width.
Shipping: Once a package leaves my hands with USPS or UPS it is out of my control. I do not refund if packages are lost in the mail or do not arrive in the expected time as this is beyond my control. I try to ship the day of an order or the next day if ordered Sunday - Friday but must wait until Monday to ship packages ordered Saturday or Sunday.
