Antique Victorian 1800s Cast Metal Plant or Oil Sconce Stand Details: 
- antique heavy iron widow walk from historic home built in 1849 into the 1850s
- home was built by a founder of Ironton, Ohio, that owned and operated pig iron furnaces
- railing is in three parts along with the caps that fit onto the large columns that were cast
- side rails have 6 paneled designs that resembles a flower while front rail has 7 panels
- shown on the original home and then on the roof as they were removed
- caps are removable with some being domed up and others flat depending on location on the railing
- this went on a huge home with 12 foot ceilings that is shown in the last two images and as can be seen this was the walk above the front porch
- would be lovely reworked into a city townhouse fence

Decade: mid 1800s roughly 1850 give or take a few years

Condition: Good
- one column cap missing but those are made of a tin and could be replaced
-  one finial snapped off but there so would need welded back
- when this was removed, workers cut into one column to get to spot to remove so this half moon piece will also need to be welded back
- top wrought piece that goes across is tacked down and not totally flat though i believe that is how it was made and one edge is slightly lifted up so can be bent back down
- many coats of paint and roof tar at bottoms of columns along with some oxidation to those exposed areas and corners where these rails meet

Makes a total of 27 feet approximately

Height - 29" to top of flat tops and 32" to top of pointed finial 
Width -110" for one, 108" another and 117" for another as edges slip into the one next to it
Width - 6" at widest point of column
