1900s Antique White Traditional Hardanger Bunad Blouse Details:
- a soft thick woven cotton or linen
- traditional hand made hardanger embroidery on front placket, two side plackets and cuffs
- open front with no closure as is meant to have bunad dress over it and closed at neck with jewelry
- tie back to draw in and create the blouse effect along with back bodice design
- machine made lace edges sleeve cuffs while sleeves are balloon sleeves
- this did not fit my smallest dress form neck so must be for a very small neck measurement ( i believe this is best for an XS)
Condition: Very Good
- one pick to the back of the shirt
- extremely faint browning on front center hardanger embroidery that is so faint I couldn't get it to show up in images
- freshly cleaned
Measurements: taken with garment lying flat and some measurements doubled when needed
Bust - 32" at underarm seam with pleating all in and not pulled out
Waist Bottom Hem- 21"
Shoulders - 13.5" (base purchase off of this, neck opening
Bicep - 18"
Sleeve - 18.25" to edge of lace
Length - 21.25"
Neck Opening - approximately 12.75" if closed with sides of front placket even
