1900s Antique Edwardian White Cotton Small Embroidered Petticoat Skirt Details:
- a thin cotton handmade petticoat with machine embroidery 360 degrees around bottom of skirt
- gathered at waist band and in two areas below the waist
- 3 hook and eye closures at waist with one attached to edge of lower gathering
- shown in natural light all images and with hook and eyes in back 3rd to last image shows hook and eye on left side
- best for a smaller size small or a larger size XS with max waist of 26" when corseted
Condition: Good (optionally could add additional hook and eye)
- Two handfuls of darns to area of skirt above embroidery along with a couple of pinholes the same area
- some light rust stains at waistband and a various places on skirt that are faint
- stain on bottom embroidery area seen in embroidery detail image that I missed when restoring so may come out
- one hook and eye could be added to 1st skirt gathering if you wanted to close up the small gap
- very bottom button was missing so replaced with antique shell button
- freshly cleaned
Measurements: taken with garment lying flat and some measurements doubled when needed
