50s Vintage Purple Rhinestone Gold Tone Evening Necklace Details:
- a gold tone metal necklace featuring 5 front panels with a rectangular link chain finished with ball drop and hook closure
- two tones of rhinestones with a pale warm purple that is almost pink in the drop marquis rhinestones and tri-clusters along with a more saturated purple for the two top round stones in the leaf pattern
- front panels show leaves and small flowers which are the 3 rhinestones and what looks like a braided rope
- back of one panel marked "Coro" and another marked "des. pat. pend."
- shown in natural light on dress form
Condition: Very Good
- one hanging marquis rhinestone was originally glued lower in the setting in manufacturing
- wear to gold finish where panels link together and one spot of wear to back of one panel
- presents beautifully in person
